David was also honoured to deliver the 5th Annual Lieutenant-Governor Lois E. Hole Lecture.

David is married to Vicki and their combined family totals five: Adrien, Etienne, Todd, Ashleigh and their very own Victoria.

For his work as an advocate for children and aboriginal people, David has been honoured by having been named to the Order of Canada.
